Day 1 - Napa County to Sonoma. Following our morning transfer from San Francisco, we'll begin our tour in the village of Napa. Today's ride will take us past world-famous vineyards and wineries on rolling roads that will lead us into the village of Sonoma. Relax at our luxury inn in the center of town with a dip in the pool before our festive "Welcome Dinner" this evening at Sonoma's finest restaurant.

Day 2 - Sonoma to Mendocino. After a short transfer, today's hilly ride will take us into the wild of Mendocino County and the Anderson Valley as we pedal past award-winning vineyards, fruit orchards and redwood forests before arriving on the coast into Mendocino! Relax at our charming inn overlooking the ocean and the spectacular headlands before dinner in town.

Day 3 - Mendocino to Gualala. Following a hearty breakfast and a stop at our favorite bakery, we'll depart Mendocino for an epic ride down the California Coast on serpentine, cliff side roads that literally hug the coastline. We'll enjoy a picnic lunch today overlooking the crashing surf below before continuing on to the village of Gualala and our luxury inn overlooking the ocean. This afternoon, go horseback riding, visit nearby Point Arena Lighthouse , walk along the coast or enjoy a relaxing massage in the comforts of your own room. This evening, we'll sample some local wines during our group dinner.

Day 4 - Gualala to Bodega Bay. Today's route features more amazing scenery along the undulating California Coast. Highlights include a stop at Fort Ross, a Russian settlement for fur trading in the 1880's, and a picnic lunch overlooking the mouth of the Russian River. Relax with a spa session this afternoon, hike along Sonoma Coast State Beach or enjoy some time in the heated pool or sauna before dinner overlooking the Pacific.

Day 5 - Bodega Bay to San Francisco. Today's program is packed with Northern Californian icons! Begin the day cycling through forests of redwoods on the "Bohemian Highway" and continuing through the John Muir Woods before getting ready for the final climb of the tour, beloved Mount Tamalpais! Soak up the views of the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco before cycling across the Golden Gate Bridge to our hotel on the Embarcadero where we'll celebrate the week! Choose to stay in San Francisco (at your own expense under our group block) or take our shuttle to the airport at 5:00 pm. for evening departures.
