Day 1 - Morning Transfer / North Carolina Waterfalls Byway Ride. Meet at our designated Charlotte International Airport hotel at 9:00 am for departure to the Appalachians of North Carolina and Georgia! Today's route will feature many of North Carolina's most spectacular waterfalls, including the 411-foot drop of Upper Whitewater Falls, the highest waterfall east of the Rockies! This evening, we'll enjoy a "Welcome Cocktail and Dinner" at Georgia's premier mountain resort!

Day 2 - Brasstown Bald Loop. Experience the challenge of riding the most famous climb of the Tour of Georgia, the "beyond category" Brasstown Bald, and savor the view of three states at the summit with a celebratory picnic! Options for the remainder of the day include riding the first-category Hogpen Gap, getting a massage, horsebackriding at the Resort's stables, hiking, or relaxing in the pool!

Day 3 - Southern Blue Ridge Parkway Ride. Following a full breakfast and short transfer across the border into North Carolina, we'll begin riding the Blue Ridge Parkway at it's southern entrance. Highlights of the day include riding the serpentine Parkway over its' highest point (6074 feet) and enjoying the endless views of the Appalachians! Relax this evening with a drink on the terrace of our country inn atop Mount Pisgah before our group dinner.

Day 4 - Pisgah to Little Switzerland. Enjoy a fun-filled morning in lively Asheville with the option of visiting the famed Biltmore Estate. Following lunch in town, you'll continue cycling on the Blue Ridge Parkway to the village of Little Switzerland! Enjoy an afternoon swim while soaking up some of the most amazing views of the entire tour. Group dinner this evening.

Day 5 - Mount Mitchell Loop. No cycling trip to the Appalachians would be complete without a ride up legendary Mount Mitchell! Following your ascent to the summit at 6684 feet, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch and enjoy the view! Ride back to the hotel or enjoy a ride in the van and take it easy. This evening, we'll enjoy our "Farewell Dinner" in Little Switzerland.

Day 6 - Little Switzerland to Charlotte. Our final day's ride will see us ascend our final climb, Grandfather's Mountain, before enjoying lunch in charming Blowing Rock. Afterwards, enjoy one last final descent from the race routes of the former Tour Dupont beforel transfering to our airport hotel at Charlotte International Airport to repack bikes for departing guests. Earliest flight departure time available will be 6:30 pm. If you would like to stay for an additonal night, please let us know as we have a group block of rooms at the hotel with discounted rates.
