Etape du Tour
If you have ever wanted to know what it's like to be a cyclist riding a complete mountain stage at the Tour de France, then make your plans today to join us for the 2017 Etape du Tour! We have been offering trips to the Etape du Tour or "Stage of the Tour" since 2005 and, during that time, we have helped hundreds of cyclists reach this "bucket list" dream!
This is without question one of the most challenging goals that a cyclist can set. For 2017, the stage is set in the legendary French Alps where cyclists will ride a 178 km odyssey in an "all or nothing" format that includes such Tour heavyweights as the Col de Vars and the Col d'Izoard! The Etape du Tour requires that you arrive in the fittest shape possible since you will quickly find out that this is not like a Century-ride back home given the intensity of the event and the time checks.
During the course of your vacation, you will be supported by an international bi-lingual staff that has been working together for close to two decades and who have all finished the Etape and know how to guide you through the process. In addition, you'll have the full support of our professional mechanics and you'll benefit from our 2 private aid stations on the day of the Etape du Tour as we assist you in your quest to finish. So come prepared for the most challenging ride of your life and return home a true "Giant of the Road" at the 2017 Etape du Tour!
Non-Riding Guests: For those guests who want to come to the Etape du Tour but aren't riding, you will enjoy our daily cultural excursions with our bi-lingual guide from Provence. Each day includes a full-lineup of sightseeing at the region's finest attractions and includes a daily homemade picnic lunch with wine from our "Martha Stewart of Provence." In addition, you will be on the course at a specific rest stop on the day of the Etape du Tour so you can watch all the action!
