July 5- Depart for Geneva, Switzerland.

July 6- Welcome to France! / Transfer to Albertville.
Following our welcome at the Geneva International Airport, we will transfer you to the nicest hotel in Albertville, the 3-star Hotel Million, where we'll check-in for the next three nights. Because Albertville is the Host Village for the 2012 Etape du Tour, you will be able to walk to the Expo Village and register while our professional mechanics build up your bike for you. Afterwards, go for a short spin along the valley roads or catch the live Tour action of Stage 6 on TV before our "Welcome Meeting and Dinner" this evening.

July 7- Easy Taper Ride / Etape du Tour Meeting and Group Dinner.
Following breakfast, enjoy a relaxing spin along the valley roads and into the foothills of the Alps to make sure you and your bike are all ready to go! This afternoon, watch Stage 7 on TV or visit Albertville's finest pro bike shop before preparing your special-needs bags for tomorrow. This evening, we'll have our traditional "Etape du Tour Meeting" to go over all the details for tomorrow's ride before an early dinner this evening.

July 8- The 2012 Etape du Tour!
Today's experience will be a dream come true as you ride an entire mountain stage of the Tour de France from Albertville to La Toussuire! Sleep in and begin your day with a relaxing breakfast only minutes from the "Grand Depart." During the course of your Etape du Tour ride over four "cols," you will benefit from the three official feed zones plus our two private feed zones as well as Mavic's on -road support. Following your arrival at the finish line, we will direct you to where our Etape du Tour Post-Ride Buffet will be waiting for you. This evening, we'll celebrate your accomplishment with our group dinner!

July 9 - L'Alpe d'Huez!
Enjoy a full breakfast and a relaxing morning before a short transfer to our starting point for today's ride up the most famous 21-switchbacks in cycling, L'Alpe d'Huez! Enjoy an easy warm-up along the valley road before feeling the presence of past Tour champions like Coppi, Merckx, Anquetil, Hinault, Lemond and Armstrong as you ascend this mythical climb that will be sure to inspire you! At the summit, following check-in at our 3-star hotel, reward yourself with the amazing view of the French Alps before enjoying our "Farewell Dinner" this evening!

July 10- Transfer Day or Options.
Following breakfast, we will transfer you to Geneva International Airport for your return flight home or extend your trip with our France Pro Tour Alps Vacation (call for pricing). Your transfer to Geneva International Airport will arrive at 11:30 am. Thus, your earliest flight departure will be 2:30 pm.
