Tuesday, June 30   - Welcome to Italy! We will meet you at the Marco Polo International Airport in Venice in the morning with departure time scheduled for 12 noon. After welcoming everyone, we will depart for the small village of Colfosco in the heart of the Dolomites. Upon our arrival, get settled in before our "Welcome Meeting, Cocktails, and Dinner."

Wednesday, July 1 - The Passo di Valparola and Passo Gardenia Loop. Following a Tyrolean buffet breakfast, we'll enjoy a fun descent and warm-up ride through the Val di Gardenia and the Val di Badia before climbing up the Passo di Valporola. Following a warm cappucino at the summit, enjoying a serpentine descent before climbing the stunning Passo Gardenia! Afterwards, relax with a dip in the pool or unwind in the hotel spa where you will enjoy "the circuit!" .This evening, we'll celebrate the day's adventure with a special dinner at our chalet's private lodge atop the Col Pradat! Non-Rider Activities: Guided hike through the Ladin Farmhouses in "Le Val."

Thursday, July 2- The Passo dello Stelvio. Today is your chance over the highest pass and the highest road in Italy, the famed Passo dello Stelvio! Over 25 km long and laced with 48 switchbacks, this is the ultimate ride if you love to climb! Following our arrival at the top, we will descend into Switzerland before riding back into Italy! Reward yourself with a hearty alpine dinner this evening before enjoying an Italian gelato under the stars! Non-rider Activities: Guided hike through the Armentara Meadows.

Friday July 3- The Sella Ronda Loop. Perhaps the greatest loop on the planet! Ride as much or as little of the following climbs - the Passo di Gardena, Passo Sella, Passo Pordoi (with the Fausto Coppi Memorial) and the Passo di Campolongo. Enjoy a true Italian lunch along the route under the shadows of the Dolomites before returning back to our hotel. Non-rider activities: Hike through the Dolomite Legends!

Saturday July 4 - Free Day. Enjoy a relaxing rest day with a visit to Corvara, visit the Maratona Exhibition or take an excursion using the network of gondolas and see the Dolomites from a whole new angle! Tonight's dinner will get us ready for the Maratona in true Italian fashion!

Sunday July 5- VIP Status at the Maratona dles Dolomites Gran Fondo / Farewell Dinner. With your VIP start number, choose from 1 of 3 different routes at Italy's premier Gran Fondo depending on your ability and fitness levels! We guarantee that today will be one of the greatest rides of your life as you enjoy all the beauty, drama, and fun that is "cycling in Italy!" Following the day's ride, we'll celebrate the week's adventure during our "Farewell Dinner" this evening. VIP Non-rider activities: Bus transfer to watch departure and arrival of cyclists plus the possibility to go up the gondola at the Passo Gardena to watch participants pass by and then walk down to Corvara through the Edelweiss Valley where they will enjoy VIP status at the Maratona Village and at the Finish Line Champagne Tents!

Monday July 6 - Transfer and Departures. Following an early breakfast, we'll bid "Ciao!" to the Dolomites and our friends in Colfosco as we head to Marco Polo International Airport. Scheduled arrival time at the airport is 11:00 am. Stay in Venice, head to Piedmont, Tuscany or the Amalfi, or depart home with memories that will last forever!
