July 1 - Welcome to France!

Following your arrival at Nice International Airport, we'll transfer you to our charming hotel in Roquebrune Cap Martin with it's spectacular views over the Cote d'Azur and Monaco! Following check-in, explore town while our professional mechanics assemble your bike for you. This evening, we'll enjoy a cocktail before our "Welcome Meeting / Dinner" while enjoying the view!

July 2 - Italian Riviera Cycling / 2009 Team Presentation.

After breakfast overlooking the harbor of Monaco, choose to relax at a cafe in Menton or ride across the border into Italy to take on two of the most celebrated climbs in cycling's history - Milan San Remo's Cipressa and Poggio! This evening, choose to ride or transfer over to Monaco for the 2009 Team Presentation under the stars!

July 3 - Prologue Time Trial Ride and Col de la Madone.

Since our hotel is right on the Prologue Course, we'll start the day and ride the "official Prologue race route" to see what the pros have in store for them tomorrow. Afterwards, choose to relax on the beach or ride one of Lance's favorite climbs, the Col de la Madone! We'll have a group dinner this evening to celebrate the day!

July 4 - Col d'Eze Loop / 2009 France Pro Tour Prologue Live!

Begin your day with a climb to the summit of the Col d'Eze, the pinnacle climb of Paris-Nice, before descending into Nice for a stop at a cafe' in the Old Town or on the Promenade des Anglais. Afterwards, we'll ride along the coastal road to Monaco before cheering on Lance and the world's top pros as they race for the coveted leader's jersey in the Prologue!

July 5 - France Pro Tour Stage 1 / Monaco to Cannes Bike Ride / Transfer to Provence.

This morning, be sure to bring your sharpie pen and camera as you witness all the pageantry of the traditional "sign-in" and Stage 1 Start! Following the departure of the pros, we'll ride from Monaco along the French Rivieria to the city of Cannes. Afterwards, we'll transfer to our charming hotel in Provence at the base of Mont Ventoux where we'll enjoy a group dinner with some of the local vintages.

July 6 - Mont Ventoux Climb or Cotes du Ventoux Wine Loop.

Choose to challenge yourself on the climb of Mont Ventoux, the "Giant of Provence," or an easier ride through the Cote du Ventoux vineyards and wine villages before relaxing in the hotel pool or at a cafe' in colorful Bedoin. This evening, we'll celebrate the week with a festive "Farewell Dinner" under the stars!

July 7 - Morning Transfer to Avignon. Following breakfast, shop in Bedoin or soak up the morning atmosphere at a local cafe'. At 11 a.m., we'll transfer you to the Avignon Train Station where you can pick up a rental car, take the TGV to either Nice or Paris, or a taxi to the Avignon Airport for your return flight home.
