Along with being the inaugural “Monument” of the year, the race features a challenging course just short of 300 km (185 miles) that includes the final two legendary climbs of the Cipressa and the Poggio before finishing on San Remo’s Via Roma!
Along the way, you’ll feel the presence of past champions like Fausto Coppi (3x winner), Gino Bartali (4x winner) and Eddy Merckx (7x winner) as you ride the fabled roads of the the Italian Riviera. Itinerary
March 17: Welcome to the Italian Riviera / Warm-up Spin / Welcome Dinner
We will meet you at the Nice International Airport at 12 noon and transfer you across the border into Italy before arriving into San Remo on the Italian Riviera. Check-in for the next five nights at our four-star hotel before assembling your bike with the assistance of our professional mechanics or make final adjustments on your rental bike. Afterwards, go for a warm-up spin along the coastal beaches before enjoying our “Welcome Meeting / Dinner” at the hotel.
March 18: Italian Riviera Coast / Passo Ghimbegna
Following breakfast and a cappuccino at our favorite coffee shop, warm-up along the shores of the Mediterranean while soaking up the spectacular views of the Italian Riviera before climbing the panoramic road of the Passo Ghimbegna with it’s breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea and picturesque villages such as Apricale and Baiardo. Following your descent into San Remo, relax on a nearby beach before exploring the local “trattorias” for dinner on your own this evening.
March 19: The Cipressa and the Poggio
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast before choosing to ride or take a van transfer to one of the most beautiful cities on the Italian Riviera coast, Imperia! Following our arrival, we’ll explore one of Fausto Coppi’s favorite cafe’s for coffee before riding on the official race route of Milan-San Remo where you will ride the famous ascents of the Cipressa and the Poggio before descending into San Remo on the Via Roma. Along with all the great cycling, we will see many of the pro teams out on the course today since today is their traditional day to do their recon for Saturday’s race. This evening, we’ll finish off this memorable day with a group dinner at one of our favorite restaurants in town.
March 20: Colle di Langan / Parco delle Alpi Liguri
Get ready for an unforgettable ride into the Parco delle Alpi Liguri that features the ascent of the Colle di Langan! Along the way, ride as much or as little as you like while discovering such colorful hamlets as Pigna and Molini di Triora while savoring the views along the way. Following your arrival back at the hotel in San Remo, relax at the nearby beach before dinner on your own this evening.
March 21: Milan-San Remo 2026 Men’s Pro Road Race / Farewell Dinner
Following breakfast and a cappuccino overlooking the Mediterranean, we will follow all the action of Milan-San Remo today until it’s climactic finish on the Via Roma! Race viewing details to be announced shortly. This evening, we’ll conclude your Milan-San Remo vacation as we toast the winner of today’s Monument during our “Farewell Dinner!” (Note: No ride scheduled for today)
March 22: Transfers to Nice Airport
After breakfast and coffee, we’ll transfer you to the Nice Airport for your return flight home or continue your journey to other parts of Europe. Our scheduled arrival time at the Nice Airport is 12 noon. If you drove to San Remo, you trip will conclude with check-out at 12 noon.
