Velo Echappe’ was the first North American company to create a cycling vacation to the Spring Classics back in 1996. An article about the trip appeared in the March 1996 issue of Bicycling Magazine. Unfortunately, that trip didn’t sell in time. However, the following year, our 1997 Spring Classics trip featured two cycling “Legends” - Eddy Merckx and Phil Anderson - and that one did happen! In addition, it was featured by Bicycling Magazine as “one of the top five trips on the planet!”
