Itinerary
March 5: Welcome to Tuscany! / Warm-up Spin / Welcome Dinner
We will meet you at the Siena Train Station before 3 p.m. and transfer you to our deluxe hotel in charming Siena. Following our arrival, check-in for the next four nights before assembling your bike with the assistance of our professional mechanics or make final adjustments on your rental bike. Afterwards, go for a warm-up spin in the Tuscan countryside before enjoying our “Welcome Meeting / Dinner” at the hotel.
March 6: Tuscany Dream Ride / Strade Bianche Registration
Enjoy a relaxing breakfast and a cappuccino overlooking Siena before getting ready for one of the best rides of your life - the Crete Senesi! Lined with medieval hilltop villas and ancient cypress trees, this is like “Disneyland” for a cyclist! After lunch, we’ll register for the Strade Bianche Gran Fondo before getting ready to explore the trattorias of Siena this evening for dinner!
March 7: Strade Bianche Men’s and Women’s Professional Races!
Get ready to cheer on your favorite professional cyclists at what has become one of the highlights of the year in professional cycling - the Strade Bianche! We’ll witness the race at various destinations throughout the day as the pro’s race over the white gravel roads of Tuscany before finishing in the Piazza del Campo! This evening, we’ll toast the champion as we fuel-up for our edition of Strade Bianche tomorrow!
March 8: Strade Bianche Gran Fondo!
Today is your opportunity to test yourself on the famed gravel roads of Toscana during the Gran Fondo Strade Bianche! The route is as beautiful as it is challenging! After the final ascent up the challenging Via Santa Caterina in the center of Siena, you’ll experience on the greatest finish lines in all of sport - the Piazza del Campo! This afternoon, relax at our hotel while savoring the week and all of the adventures we’ve shared together before our “Farewell Dinner.”
March 9: Transfers
After breakfast and a final cappuccino at the villa, enjoy one final spin in Tuscany before we transfer you to the Siena Train Station. If you drove to Siena, your trip will conclude with check-out at 12 noon. (Please note: We can organize direct van transfers to the Florence Airport if required. This transfer will be at your expense.)
