Itinerary

July 6th: Welcome to Normandy / Welcome Meeting and Dinner
Following your arrival at the Caen TGV Station, we will transfer you to our four-star hotel in Crepon, a beautiful village in Normandy just a few miles from the ocean. Following check-in for the next two nights at our four-star hotel, build up your bike with the assistance of our professional mechanics before enjoying a short spin along the Atlantic Coast. This evening, we’ll kick off your vacation with our “Welcome Meeting and Dinner.”

July 7th: D-Day History Cycling Tour
Enjoy a full Norman breakfast before getting ready to spend a day cycling at your own pace as we explore the history of D-Day including visits to Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, Arromanches-les-Bains, and the Normandy American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer. After such a memorable day, we’ll enjoy a glass of the local Colvados brandy before exploring the local brasseries of Crepon for dinner.

July 8th: Crepon to Avranches/ “Voie de la Liberte” Ride
After breakfast, we’ll begin our day with a short transfer to Bayeux to visit it’s historic center before riding on the “Voie de la Liberte,” or the “Liberty Road” to the town of Avranches. This is the road the Allies took back in 1944 when they liberated Normandy. Upon reaching Avranches, we’ll check-in into our charming four-star hotel for the next two nights before enjoying a festive group dinner.

July 9th: Mont St. Michel
We’ll begin the day with a visit to the iconic Mont St. Michel, the second most popular tourist destination in France behind the Eiffel Tower. We will spend plenty of time here so you can experience the towering monastery and surrounding village to your heart’s content. Afterwards, we will ride along the Brittany coast with it’s dramatic views of the bay and Mont St. Michel before watching the live action of the Stage 5 Individual Time Trial on TV. This evening, explore the restaurants and brasseries of Avranches for dinner on your own.

July 10th - Avranches to Pleneuf-Val Andre / Cap Frehel and the Brittany Coast
Savor your final breakfast in Normandy before transferring to one of the most charming coastal villages in Brittany - Pleneuf-Val-Andre. Upon our arrival and check-in for the next two nights, our cycling route will feature some of the most sensational coastal views in the region as we ride to Cap Frehel and the nearby villages with their world-class beaches! enjoy a relaxing dip in the spa pools or go for a walk on the beach before exploring the local brasseries and restaurants for dinner.

July 11th - Tour de France Stage 7
Today you will come face-to-face with the Tour de France as it winds its way through the hometown of France’s greatest cyclist, Bernard Hinault, in Yfinniac and continues to it’s climatic finish atop the steep Muur de Bretagne!
Along the way, you’ll witness the Tour Caravan before cheering on your favorite riders and the Maillot Jaune as they challenge one another on this popular stage. This evening, we’ll celebrate the Tour de France along with your week’s adventure with our “Farewell Dinner!”

July 12th: Transfer Day
Following breakfast, we’ll transfer you to the TGV Station in Rennes with memories of having experienced the history, beauty, and hospitality of Normandy and Brittany. Our estimated time of arrival is 12 noon. From Rennes, it is a 2:30 trip to Paris on the TGV.
